Hiring & Payments

Where are you located? Do you have a public office location?

I spend most of my time in the Los Angeles, CA area, but do not maintain an office open to clients/public. In most cases I work on an entirely remote basis.

Are you available for hire on any art or design platforms?

Yes. You can find the platforms I currently belong to here.

You’re not a member of my preferred hiring platform. Will you join it?

Possibly. It depends on the size of your project. Please contact me to discuss your needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

That depends on how you hired me.

If you hired me directly, you can mail me a check or pay via PayPal.

If you hired me via a third party platform (Bēhance, DeviantArt, etc.) then you must pay me via that same platform using one of the payment methods that platform accepts. To maintain compliance with platform terms, I am not able to accept payment outside a platform’s payment mechanism for work booked through the platform.

Submitting Files

I have notes/drawings/brand guidelines for my project. What is the best way to submit files?

If your files are less than 100MB, and I am expecting them, they can be submitted via the form on my contact page. Please do not submit unsolicited files or files which infringe upon copyrights or trademarks you don’t have rights to use. Please do not submit any proprietary, secret, confidential, classified, or otherwise sensitive files or information using this form.

If your files are larger than 100MB, or contain proprietary or otherwise sensitive information, please contact me to request a secure upload link.

Alternatively, you may also make your files available to me for download from your preferred file sharing platform and provide me with a link.

Working Together

How long will it take you to complete my project?

The demands of each project and my schedule and availability vary. Under normal circumstances, I will provide an estimated delivery window. If you have an urgent deadline or require delivery on an exact schedule, please discuss your timeline with me before hiring me. Please note that rush jobs or complicated scheduling requirements may necessitate additional charges.

How many revisions are included without incurring additional charges?

Typically, 2 revisions per piece, but this will be discussed and specified prior the beginning of work on each piece. The cost of any additional revisions will also be pre-specified for each piece.

Can you collaborate directly with my web developer / marketing team / ad agency / etc.?

If the project merits it, yes, though coordinating with other creatives can be time consuming, and I’ll charge you for my time, so the project budget must support the additional expense. When coordination with other creatives is required, delays are common, so delivery windows will often require adjustment.

Delivery

How will my completed projects be delivered? In what format?

For independent work, I will typically provide a secure download link.

Projects booked through third party platforms may need to be delivered through the interface provided by the platform.

The file formats delivered will generally depend on the type of project and will typically be specified when booking the project. Conversion/adaptation from one file format to another may incur additional charges if not specified as included in the project.

Please note that, unless otherwise specified in the project brief, deliverables are generally anticipated to be print/use ready files, NOT editable design files.

Misc.

What are your preferred pronouns and form of address?
